Kyle Orzech

This is Kyle Orzech's first time with the Classical Theatre Project and already he is having a blast. Most recently Kyle has been involved with student films (both for Sheridan and York University), CBC's animated series Fuzzy Tales, and Wendy (Red Kite Animations). In March he embarked on a tour of Saskatchewan engaging students and Native communities with Forum Theatre and this coming January he will be heading to New Brunswick for four months as part of Theatre New Brunswick's Young Company. Abraham Asto

Abraham is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the George Brown Theatre Conservatory. After leaving the path of acting for a few years, Abraham is excited to return to the stage. In 2013, Abraham will make his debut on the stages of the Citadel Theatre and Theatre Calgary in their co-production of The Kite Runner. Abraham is excited to take part in the adventure of Shakespeare, and looks to share in the joy the language brings to the listener.


Anna Wheeler

Nadeem Umar-Khihab

Nadeem is an actor, poet and singer. He trained as an actor at Cawthra Park Secondary School and Ryerson Theatre School. He self-published a book of poetry in 2010 entitled, The Road To California, and sold hundreds of copies while doing live performances in Dundas Square, the Kensington Market, and Queen Street. He sings, as his alter-ego “WunderKat,” with “The Night Knights” which includes actors Tayves Fiddis and Giovanni Spina. He is currently breaking into producing and screenwriting. He extends his deepest gratitude to everyone who stops, looks, and listens and is proud to be working with such a dynamic team at CTP.

Kevin Ritchie

Kevin is excited to be with CTP for another stellar season.  A graduate of George Brown, Kevin has worked across the country in theatre and film.  He lives in Toronto with his beautiful fiancée.

Meaghen Quinn

Peter Church

Peter is very happy to be returning for his seventh year with the Classical Theatre Project. After graduating from the theatre program at Mount Royal University in Calgary, he relocated to Toronto where he has been acting in Film and Theatre since 2001. As an educator and acting coach, Peter co-founded Larkspur Farm Theatre Camp with Heath and Dan Needles and has ten years of professional teaching experience in schools, theatres, and churches across the province. He lives happily with his wife and a sleeveful of pet rats and also podcasts a monthly series of radio plays from www.radioprojectX.com.


Jeffrey Simlett

Jeffrey is an actor, educator and voice/speech coach who holds an MFA from York University. He has been a company member with Classical Theatre Project since 2006. He works in film, tv and theatre coaching; notable projects include the film adaptation of The Stone Angel, and the feature film Traitor. He has taught at York University, Towson University and also spent two years as an associate faculty member at the Canadian National Voice Intensive, Vancouver. He recently had the privilege of performing with Italy's Compagnia Pippo Delbono in the internationally acclaimed piece Questo Buio Feroce at Toronto's World Stage Festival. Jeffrey is Director of Education for the Classical Theatre Project, and has been core faculty at Northwestern University's National High School Institute in Chicago since 2001.
